About The Arkansas Patriot
News for the Natural State — updated daily.
Who we are
The Arkansas Patriot is an independent news site for Arkansans. It is published by Get Alerts LLC, a privately held company based in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. We are not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any political party, campaign, candidate, PAC, or media conglomerate.
Why we exist
Arkansas news gets buried under national noise. The Arkansas Patriot puts the stories that land on Arkansas first — your county, your schools, your taxes, your family — in plain language and without the spin.
What we stand for
Plain talk. Clear headlines. The original source one click away. We report what happened and let you make up your own mind.
How we work
Our desk watches wire services, national and regional outlets, official statements, and public records. Much of what we publish is a summary and analysis of reporting first done elsewhere, and we link to the original so you can read it yourself. Some articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools from source material our editors select — and nothing publishes without an editor reviewing and approving it first. The full policy, including corrections, is on our Editorial Standards & Corrections page.
How we pay for it
The Arkansas Patriot is free to read and is paid for by advertising and sponsorships. Advertisers have no say in what we cover. Paid placements are labeled. See Advertising & Sponsorship.
