Advertising & Sponsorship
Last updated: September 25, 2026. The Arkansas Patriot is free to read because advertisers and sponsors pay for it. This page explains what we sell, what we will not sell, and how paid placements are disclosed.
Who we reach
The Arkansas Patriot reaches readers who want breaking news first — national headlines, politics, weather, business and the stories their neighbors are talking about. They come to us on the web and through our free daily email alerts, which they asked for and can leave with one click. They are engaged, they read to the end, and they act.
What we offer
- Display placements on article pages and section pages.
- Email newsletter placements inside our alerts.
- Sponsored content — a dedicated post written for you and clearly labeled as sponsored.
- Sponsored reader polls and lead-generation campaigns.
Rates, available inventory and current audience figures are supplied on request. We will not quote you numbers we cannot document.
How we label paid placements
Every paid placement is identified as advertising. Sponsored articles carry a clear “Sponsored” label at the top, and they are written and presented so a reader can tell at a glance that they are not our newsroom’s reporting. Where we use affiliate links — links that may earn us a commission if you buy something — we disclose that on the page. This is our policy, and it is also the law: the Federal Trade Commission requires that material connections be disclosed clearly and conspicuously.
What we will not sell
- Editorial coverage. You cannot buy a news story, a favorable angle, a headline, or the removal of one.
- Our subscriber list. We do not sell, rent, or hand over reader email addresses to advertisers. An advertiser reaches our readers by buying a placement that we send — never by receiving their contact details.
- Undisclosed placements. We will not run paid material dressed up as editorial.
What we may decline
We reserve the right to refuse any advertisement, and we regularly do. We decline placements that are deceptive or misleading, that make health or income claims we cannot verify, that promote illegal products or services, that target children, or that we simply do not want associated with this publication. Acceptance of an advertisement is not an endorsement of the advertiser or its claims, and readers should do their own diligence before buying anything from anyone, including our advertisers.
Advertiser tracking
Advertisers and their technology partners may set their own cookies or use pixels in their creative. We do not control that activity, and their privacy policies govern it. Our own data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
