October 2, 2026

BRAD REACTS TO AUSTIN McCOLLUM's latest ARREST. Folks, this is the stuff out of those crime shows.

FULL ON CREEPY. Shouldn't all the public outrage be for the man on the right and not the one on the left?

Courtesy of Arkansas Breaking News McCollum, the Republican nominee for Benton County judge, was arrested Sept. 29 on charges of first-degree stalking, a Class B felony, and violation of an order of protection, a Class A misdemeanor.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed Wednesday, surveillance video shows McCollum at a Sept. 22 open house at a school in Springdale, the same morning his wife was touring the school.

Her attorney had notified his attorney that she would be there, and she received confirmation Sept. 21 that he would not attend.

That evening, the affidavit says, McCollum registered for an 11 a.m. tour slot. Video shows he arrived at 10:04 a.m., walked to his wife's car and looked inside, then stood in a hallway looking toward where she was standing with her group, according to the affidavit.

He left, came back at 10:55 a.m., circled the lot against traffic and parked 11 spaces from her car. His wife told the school he was not supposed to be there, and an armed security guard walked her to her car, directly past McCollum as he sat in his vehicle.

The affidavit says he then got out, faced her car and watched her leave before heading to his tour 11 minutes late. On Sept.

28, an employee at the couple's children's school saw McCollum drive through the parking lot around 5 p.m., the time his wife usually picks the children up, staring at the entrance, according to the affidavit. She kept the children home the next day.

On Sept. 29, a parent reported seeing him on the sidewalk across from the school around the 8 a.m. drop-off.

The affidavit also cites an Aug. 19 call from McCollum's phone to his wife's cellphone.

His attorney reported it as an accident, and no action was taken at the time. In an interview after his arrest, McCollum said he did not arrive at Shiloh until after 11 a.m. and did not see his wife, according to the affidavit.

He declined to answer questions about the school parking lot and said he was on a public sidewalk. He told investigators he had been at a meeting at a church connected to the school, but the church said it had no 7 a.m. meeting that day.

In addition to the bond, prosecutors are asking that McCollum wear an ankle monitor, have no contact with his wife or their two children, and stay at least 1,500 feet from her home, workplace, church and the children's school. The new filings also show the charges from his Aug.

1 arrest have been upgraded. Prosecutors filed formal charges Aug.

31 of second-degree domestic battering, first-degree false imprisonment and aggravated assault on a family or household member, all felonies. He was originally booked on third-degree domestic battering, a misdemeanor.

A judge issued a final order of protection Aug. 25 after finding his wife was in immediate and present danger
