Arkansas State Police Death Probe - This Is Tragic

Arkansas State Police are investigating the death of Varner Unit inmate Wade May, 32, after he reported being attacked and suffering a neck wound on October 29, 2026. May was taken to a Pine Bluff hospital, where he was pronounced dead roughly 75 minutes later.
His body will undergo examination to determine the cause and manner of death. Another inmate has been identified as a suspect, but officials have released no name or additional details while the investigation continues.
