Arkansas Man SENTENCED - This Is Tragic
WALNUT RIDGE, ARKANSAS- Logan Rentz was sentenced on Thursday, Oct. 1, to five years (60 months) in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
Judge Rob Ratton handed down the 60-month sentence, which falls at the lower end of the presumptive range of 60 to 120 months for the offense. Rentz, who originally faced a second-degree murder charge, was credited with 258 days of jail time served and ordered to pay court fees in $100 monthly installments.
The charges follow a January 2026 incident where Walnut Ridge police officers discovered an unresponsive person in the rear parking lot of Main Street Pizza. The victim was subsequently identified by family members as 54-year-old Shannon Fisher.
